THE ALMANAC TROPHY : A 7f class V race. A pretty open race. The winner should come from Escalating, Star Goddess, Thriller, Enchanted, Devil In Disguise, Marudhara Ratan and Arisen Star. Escalating though carrying lot of weight has a good chance here based on its last run.
Race 2. Sacred Relic(E/W), Ocean Princess, Musical Rhapsody Upset : Fetish.
THE BRIGHT HANOVAR TROPHY : A 2000m race for class V.A bad race. The main contenders are Kalinga Star, Ocean Princess, Rapide, Fetish, Honey Bee, Tryst With Destiny, Daughterofdestiny, Sacred Relic, and Musical Rhapsody. Sacred Relic looks quite good here to win.
Race 3. Blackjack(Win), Ancient Wonder, Tequila. Upset : Amouresque
THE SMART CHIEFTAN TROPHY : A class II 7f race. The main contenders are Star Trainer, Amouresque, Icon,Tequila, Blackjack and Ancient Wonder. Blackjack is a good horse, and at this handicap will be very tough to toss today. Ancient Wonder is in great form as evidenced by last run, is the one to beat here alongwith Blackjack. Icon has come up by leap and bounds, can place today.Tequila finishing effort was good in last run, today is better placed than Star Trainer, can place.Star Trainer is out handicapped can only place.Amouresque had a good last run, with BLK today runs with an upsetting chance.
Race 4. Salt(Win), Lake Superior, Touching The Town Upset : Astapi
THE HDIL ENTERTAINMENT MILLION : The 3 year old sprint race. The main contenders are :
Combined Operation : Won well in a mile, but the horses it beat weren't great. Can place.
Lake Superior : Won well beating Pronto Pronto, will be a frontline contender today.
Mountain Wind : Bred well but has been a disappointment in both runs of Mumbai, the BLK might help today.
Oriental Dawn : Won easy last time, will improve further on that, should run well again.
Cool Cat : Won last time, but beat a poor set of horses.
Touching The Town : Bangalore challenger, won comprehensively in bangalore. A very tough task here in hand.
Astapi : Debutant, has been nicely prepared, good mock race as well, is tracking well, with Sylvester to guide will run well.
Salt : Has been unlucky till now, shouldnot have been a maiden till now, today has handicap in favour, is tracking extremely well, will be very tough to toss.
Race 5. Siachen, Becket, Onassis Upset : Beautiful Stranger(E/W)
THE MAJ.P.K. MEHRA MEMORIAL SUPER MILE CUP (GR.1) : The race to find the best miler in the country for the year. Race looks very competitive.
Atlantus : Will not like this distance, though has a good finish. Will be effective show in pace race, which is unlikely.
Becket : The last run is tough to digest, today has a chance to redeem itself.
Mr Greedy : Tough task today, though based on last run has a chance.
Onassis : Running its distance, is the one to beat .
Sprint Star : Very good miler, will make everyone run. The Dark'un here note.
Astounding Gallop : Looks a very smart horse, running its distance will fight for sure.
Beautiful Stranger : Got a bit disturbed in last run, is a game horse for the mile, with the Visor today will run well.
Star Future : Has shown some talent in the Guineas when it lost to stablemate O&B, with R.Hughes to guide will run well.

Portrush : Though long in tooth will be tough to beat here.
