A competitive race day with few very good races.A 10 race card for the day, pick and choose should be the order of the day. Mr. Jaydev M. Mody's horses need to be watched today note.
Race 1. Star Craft(E/W), Amora, Wings of Angels Upset : Tommy CarmichaelA typical class V race to start the day. The race should be between Star Craft, Arisen Star, Wings of Angels, Amora, and Tommy Carmichael. Wings of Angels will push for place here. Amora, is bred well, won well last time out, will improve further on that run, with B.Prakash to guide today will give fight in the straight. Arisen star, is tracking extremely well, will place can win. Star Craft looks a nice type , running its proper distance, if Jockey handles well can win here. Tommy Carmichael is an upper class horse can upset, as the rest are nothing spectacular.
Race 2. Amouresque Upset :Sine Qua Non
A mile race with only 5 horses taking part.Sine Qua Non should win here. Rococo can only fight for place berth. Amouresque ran clsoe to Alice springs in kolkata, if it has travelled well will win.
Race 3. Heiress, Vibgyor, Tell Me more. Upset : Blazing Spectacle
A class III race for 7f. The main contenders are Tell Me More, Vibgyor, Starry Glow, Blazing Spectacle, and Heiress. Tell Me More won well last time in lower class, today it will be very tough to even place. Vibgyor, seems to have improved a lot will run very well. Blazing spectacle is blazing the tracks, is a speedy horse, will keep everyone honest. Heiress, is tracking well, will be the one to beat here.
Race 4. Royal Highness(Win), Oceanic Wisdom, Aristrocratic Upset : Forward Charge
The race should be between Oceanic Wisdom, Forward Charge, Royal Highness, and Aristrocratic. Forward charge ran well last 2 times but lost to better horses, will try to win here again. Aristrocratic is prepared well, will place. Oceanic Wisdom won well last time, will make everyone run for it. Royal Highness is a far better horse, should win today.
Race 5. Besame Mucho, Lake Beauty, Rein in Spain Upset : Chief Ruler
THE ELLE CUP for 3 year old maiden horses for 5f. Here speed and track position will often win the race. The main likely contenders are Rein in Spain, Besame Mucho, Lake Beauty, Chief Ruler, Afsoon, and Adams Vision. Besame Mucho is bred for speed, is tracking extremely well, will run a very good race. Lake Beauty has come up a lot after last run, is tracking well as well. Rein in Spain is tracking well, with C.Rajendra will go all out.
Race 6. Satyamev Jayate, Stunning Thunder, Freany Upset : Distant Promise.
A class IV mile race. An upset is likely. The race should be between Distant Promise, Satyamev Jayate, Freany, and Stunning Thunder.
Race 7. Forset Flair, Portrush(E/W), Pepe Junior Upset : Captivating.The DR. S.C. JAIN SPRINTERS CHAMPIONSHIP. A very competitive race. The main contenders are Forest Flair, Pepe Junior, Portrush, D'artagnan, and Captivating. The race will be a fast run race, so horses of 2nd wind will have a better chance here. Portrush will come very strongly here. Forest Flair is still the best for this distance, is prepared well as well will fight all though drawn badly. Attila last run was mighty impressive, can be the dark horse here but feel it will be out of class.Pepe Junior can place. D'artagnan is drawn badly will run well, but winning would be very tough. Captivating failed miserably in Bangalore, now running in mumbai, really surprising, is a very talented horse, like to run in the long straight, can surprise again.
Race 8. Polaris, Lake Geneva(Win), Romantique Upset : Voyager
Million race: A very open race as most horses are yet to set a marker. The prime contenders are Gararo, Polaris, Irresistible hunk, Suryaveer, Voyager, Romantique, and Lake Geneva.Gararo had an easy run last time, improved after that is tracking well. Polaris coming from Bangalore, looks a good type, has travelled well, will run well.Irresistible hunk is well prepared, can make an impression here. Suryaveer ran well in last run, is prepared well, will relish the step up in distance. Voyager had a good debut, will improve on that, will run well here. Lake Geneva is tracking extremely well is bred well as well will be the one of the main contenders. Romantique is bred very well, will give good account of itself.
Race 9. Native Knight(E/W), Star Alliance, Autonomy Upset : Polish Patriot.
THE BYRAMJEE JEEJEEBHOY ECLIPSE STAKES OF INDIA (GRADE 2) :
Autonomy : A classy horse, will make a meal of it in the straight, though giving weight to all will still be a very strong contender.
Cabriolet : Running its distance, with B.Prakash to guide will make a race of it, but winning will be very tough.
Onassis : Not here.Best in mile.
Moon Star : Handicap is very good, with R,Hughes to guide, will extract max. from the horse, but don't think it is in same class as other horses.
Polish Patriot : Ran very well in last race, will be tough to toss here.
Cielo Rey : The Surprise package here. Is having a nice handicap advantage will employ start to finish can sneak in a place.
Clarion Call : handicap in favour, can only place.
Native Knight : Best chance today to shed its maiden status.
Star Alliance : Late bloomer, has got handicap in favour as well, will be there.
Race 10. Star Seeker, Flying Jewel, Glowing Star Upset : Perfect Strength.
Star Seeker and flying Jewel should fight it out.
